These Terms and Conditions govern all vehicle rental agreements between Legendary Car Rental Sdn. Bhd. (“we”, “us”, or “our”) and the person making a booking (“Renter”). By renting a vehicle with us — online, via WhatsApp, by phone, or in person — you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms in full.
1. About Legendary Car Rental
Legendary Car Rental Sdn. Bhd. is a luxury and sports car rental company based in Malaysia, offering vehicles for rent across Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, and Dubai. We have been operating since 2010, providing premium vehicles including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, Bentley, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Range Rover, and more for personal use, weddings, corporate events, airport transfers, and long-term leasing.

2. Renter Eligibility Requirements
All renters must meet the following requirements at the time of vehicle collection. We reserve the right to refuse a rental if these conditions are not satisfied.
2.1 Age and Licence Requirements
- Minimum age of 23 years (higher age thresholds may apply for certain exotic or high-performance vehicles)
- Valid Malaysian driving licence, or an accepted International Driving Permit (IDP) for foreign nationals
- Driving licence must have been held for a minimum of 2 years
2.2 Identity and Payment
- Valid NRIC for Malaysian citizens, or a valid passport for non-Malaysians
- A credit or debit card in the renter’s name for the security deposit
3. Booking and Payment Policy
Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit or full payment. All rates are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). A refundable security deposit — the amount of which varies by vehicle class — is required at collection and will be communicated before your booking is finalised.
3.1 Accepted Payment Methods
We accept bank transfer, credit card, debit card, and any other method agreed at the time of booking. Full payment must be settled before the vehicle is released.
3.2 Security Deposit
The security deposit is fully refundable upon return of the vehicle in its original condition, with no outstanding charges, fines, or damage. Refunds are processed within 3 to 7 working days after the rental ends.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellation more than 48 hours before pick-up: full deposit refund
- Cancellation between 24 and 48 hours before pick-up: 50% of deposit retained
- Cancellation less than 24 hours before pick-up or no-show: deposit is non-refundable
Early returns do not qualify for a partial refund unless agreed in writing in advance. We reserve the right to cancel a booking in exceptional circumstances; a full refund will be issued in such cases.
5. Vehicle Use Policy
5.1 Authorised Drivers
The vehicle may only be driven by the named renter(s) listed in the rental agreement. Any additional driver must be declared before pick-up and must meet the same eligibility criteria. Unauthorised drivers void all coverage.
5.2 Prohibited Uses
The following are strictly not permitted under any circumstances:
- Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any impairing substance
- Using the vehicle for any illegal, criminal, or fraudulent activity
- Subletting or lending the vehicle to any person not listed on the agreement
- Racing, speed testing, stunts, or off-road driving
- Transporting hazardous, flammable, or illegal materials
- Towing, pushing, or hauling any other vehicle
- Taking the vehicle outside of Malaysia without prior written approval
Any breach of the above will make the renter fully liable for all resulting damage, costs, legal fees, and consequences.
6. Vehicle Condition and Return
6.1 Inspection at Collection
You are required to inspect the vehicle at the time of collection and report any pre-existing damage before driving off. Failure to do so may result in you being held responsible for damage identified upon return.
6.2 Vehicle Return
The vehicle must be returned on the agreed date, time, and location. Late returns without prior approval will be charged at the applicable daily rate pro-rated hourly. The vehicle must be returned in the same clean condition it was provided. An excessively dirty vehicle may incur a cleaning fee at our discretion.
7. Fuel Policy
All vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, the cost of refuelling will be deducted from the security deposit at current market pump rates, plus a RM50 service charge.
8. Accidents, Damage and Incidents
In the event of an accident, breakdown, theft, or any incident involving the rental vehicle, the renter must:
- Ensure personal safety and call emergency services (999) if required
- Notify us immediately via WhatsApp or phone at +6011 1102 0111
- File a police report within 24 hours and provide us with a copy
- Not admit liability to any third party
- Not authorise any vehicle repairs without our prior written consent
The renter is fully responsible for all damage, loss, or theft occurring during the rental period. Costs not covered by the vehicle’s insurance will be charged to the renter.
9. Traffic Fines and Legal Violations
The renter is solely responsible for all traffic fines, toll charges, parking penalties, and any government-imposed charges incurred during the rental period. Any fines received by us after the rental ends will be passed on to the renter in full, plus an administrative handling fee of RM50 per notice. Payment is due within 14 days of notification.
10. Limitation of Liability
Legendary Car Rental Sdn. Bhd. is not liable for any loss of personal belongings, personal injury, or consequential damages arising from the use of our vehicles. Our total liability shall not exceed the total rental fee paid for the specific rental period in question. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or in connection with a rental agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia. We encourage renters to contact us directly first to resolve any concerns amicably.
